I expect the defence will be that he balanced the sheet rather than one area being looked after more than the other. Which in one way makes sense. I've heard many say Conservative for the workers. Labour for the non workers.

And they will hopefully implode now as a party, in the new era of (climate change, resource and territorial conflict)-driven poverty because they won't be able to bribe enough middle grounders to keep them in power, or anywhere near it. That's as long as we can keep a semblance of democracy intact for long enough to see them off.
Hopefully some form of backlash towards responsible socialism/environmentalism will follow, and make things a bit more manageable as we move into a new and unknown era. The alternative is very dark indeed. For everyone. |  |
