Big test tomorrow 21:59 - Aug 5 with 688 viewsxrayspecs

I viewed last week's game v Bolton as a big test of whether we had improved versus last season. Bolton doubled us last season and outplayed us at PR. Against a team one year more settled and arguably stronger than they were last season, we dominated the game and could/should have won.

Tomorrow is also a good marker of where we are now versus last season. We failed to beat any of the promoted sides last season in eight attempts. A comfortable win and we will move on with reassurance that KM has improved the team, a failure to win could be a sign that there is more work to be done.

Bolton we outplayed and did all we could but get that 2nd goal.
0 points against them last season so a step in the right direction.
We managed 4 yes that's a megere 4 against the promoted sides last year.
That has to change tomorrow.

I'm saying FGR 1 Ipswich 3.

Poll: Apologies I'm bored. How many signings will we have by Plymouth at home.

I’m nervous about this one. So important to put a run together at the start of the season. Second half against Bolton was fairly decent but again 17 shots and one goal from a set piece. I do think we are still missing a 20 goal striker, but be VERY happy to be proven wrong on that.

FGR will be full of confidence- I’m going for 1-1 but hope I’m completely wrong!

On the plus side at least we can take corners now…
