iFollow 16:00 - Aug 6 with 835 views | BonchosBicycle | So a generous 15 minutes of dead air at half time for audio. So much better than analysis from Mick Mills and round-ups from around the leagues. What's not to love? At least I can switch to Home commentary and get BBC Radio Gloucester. To be fair, the commentary is greatly improved for audio-only purposes but the club really haven't thought this through it seems, which is just plain weird .

I don’t think he’ll last very long. He seems 2 or 3 passes behind the action at times. “It’s not for you son”

I suspect it is actually a far more difficult skill than any of us realise. Perhaps people will appreciate Brenner more (even if I didn't like his lack of enthusiasm for Morsy's goal today).

I do think people underestimate how difficult a thing it is to do well. The best commentators spend years honing their skills.

All the more reason to stick with Brenner instead of ditching him for a weaker replacement so we can plug Planet Blue during commentary

Understand that, but they don’t usually build their skill as the main commentator at an EFL club. They would normally learn their trade as a co commentator or in the non-league. I wonder if we can send him to Chesterfield on loan? [Post edited 6 Aug 2022 17:43]
