He can pick a pass alright, up to midfield or to wide players. Another string to his already impressive bow.

Ridiculously 'lucky' to have him, he's top Champ quality at least.

Indeed. Hladky's distribution is also very good, although he's rather less good at the more fundamental aspects of goalkeeping.

It beats watching Holy, Nsiala and Wilson passing the ball amongst themselves a couple of years back.

Its noticeable how much he's improved at that aspect since McKenna's been here. When he first joined I'd have said distribution was his one slightly weak spot!

Ridiculously lucky to have him in League one!

Obviously this is really early but I think he's already a leading candidate for player of the season for us.

Has made some wonderful saves and without him I doubt we'd be top of the league currently.

Yep, he was easily our MOTM. Given our 11th placed finish last year I'm reluctant to call too many of our players Championship standard, but he fits into that category.

During his warm up he spends as much time practicing playing with ball at his feet and his longer distribution as he does catching high balls and shot stopping. Not only do we have a really top notch goalkeeper I think we've got a great goalkeeping coach as well in Rene Gilmartin
