I don't think so. He was basically humiliated by his siblings today. Of course he should be there for ceremonials around his mother's death. But he was strikingly in civvies, not uniform like Charles, Anne and Edward (Andrew has been stripped of all the honorary colonelcies etc that would entitle him to wear military uniform.

And when walking out of the cathedral, he was alone at the back. Normally I think they'd have been in order of age, but his was left behind like a billy-no-mates.

Charles will behave to Andrew like Michael Corleone did to his treacherous brother Freddo.

Is it of import that Anne wore the trousers and Charlie the skirt?

Is this royal fluid gendering?

As if he’d leave his mum’s spare bedroom to actually protest in the real world.

I think the problem with Andrew is not fixable, he’s an individual who mixed in Dubious circles with some very unsavoury going’s on, I cannot for one moment believe the royal household didn’t warn him about this but I get the impression Andrew listens to only what he wants to, he’s made his bed so it’s vital the new king makes him lay on it.

There was an interesting picture in the Times on Saturday of Andrew doing a namaste to members of the public when the rest of the royals viewed the flowers left at Balmoral.

There should never be any way back into public life for this man.

What, have him rowed out to the middle of a lake by a gorilla and bump him off? I did know Charlie had it in him!

On Andrew, he’s finished, done. Whatever he tries now, Any form of public life only harms the royals and surely Charles isn’t daft enough to wear that. Personally, Andrew has always come across as a loathsome waster. A parasite and his activities of the last few years make him even worse than that.

Whatever the bloke is, I cannot agree with shouting at him in public just a few days after his mother’s death. Time and a place and that was neither for me. Of course he should do whatever is required for this, then disappear. I suspect that’s what his mother would have wanted.

Was it right to allow the Krays to attend their mother’s funeral? Yes. I see this a little different in principle.

I don’t think the Krays is a fair comparison.

1) Today wasn’t the funeral, it was ceremony stuff. He arguably doesn’t need to be there.
2a) The Krays were actually punished by the justice system and did time.
2b) The Kray’s Mother didn’t bail her kids out to the tune of millions with their criminal funds.
3) The Krays didn’t use their Mother’s televised death as a PR stunt to slip back into their criminal life as if nothing had happened.

The only thing Andrew has in common with the Krays is both only had one regret - getting caught.

I think in this circumstance it was surely better for him/them to just pay her to go away though - even if she had a 1% chance of winning the stuff that would come out in court and the constant updates etc. with the glare on the royal family would have been bad news (and it was a civil case so losing just meant finding more money).

That him and Epstein and everyone else on their disgusting venture won't ever see justice is an absolutely vile reflection on how money rules everything, and the real injustice is that the victims didn't get their proper day in a proper courtroom.

Just a point of order. Epstein was convicted and died in jail. As everyone has said Andrew bought his way out of being prosecuted.

Clear case of assault there too, will be interested to see either of the men who put hands on him will be charged.

I don't really see the point in these protests as it makes the viewpoint look like a crazy lunatic fringe and normalises even more of the weirdness being indulged this week.

The fact it causes such embarrassment speaks volumes about the privilege and hypocrisy.

Both those two have been charged with assault.

He's been charged with breach of the peace.
