Was the game on Saturday good? (in your opinion) 11:39 - Sep 19 with 2010 views | BlueySwede | A bit surprised to see Saturdays game rated at 6.9, I actually thought that it was a bit dull (dont think so, but maybe it´s because of the disappointment at the end). Sure there was a nice tempo to it, but I want more goal mouth action, end-to-end stuff. Also the high tempo made some of the passing look woeful. Maybe I am too critical. Just not my favourite game from us this season. [Post edited 19 Sep 2022 11:40]

Good spectacle and atmosphere, but a poor game if football with lots of individual errors (misplaced passes, balls kicked straight out of play, poor first touches etc)

Was the game on Saturday good? (in your opinion) on 12:42 - Sep 19 with 1794 views | Darth_Koont | It was the first game where we looked a little blunted in attack. But I think that’s due to Sheffield Weds good defensive shape and work rate. We did even more to blunt their attacking threat, of course, and we were overall deserving of the win. But I think we’re going to have to beat these teams with an overall performance rather than just blowing them away with our control of possession and wave after wave of attack. Edit: And just to say, I thought it was the most interesting game so far but certainly nowhere near the most entertaining, even before we lost the two-goal lead. [Post edited 19 Sep 2022 12:44]

Was the game on Saturday good? (in your opinion) on 12:59 - Sep 19 with 1669 views | Dubtractor | It was a fascinating game to watch, and we almost played a perfect tactical away game, but for a lot of it we just saw two teams cancel each other out.

Was going to post something similar, if we’d have won it would have been the perfect away performance | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Was the game on Saturday good? (in your opinion) on 14:57 - Sep 19 with 1391 views | SE1blue | It could've been an absolute belter with better officiating. The first 15 minutes felt like a play off semi final - there was an electric atmosphere and it felt like there was so much at stake. Then it turned into a bit of a circus and if we had kept clearer heads and kept it tight, we would not have given away silly free kicks or allowed them back in. I really enjoyed it but felt it was overtaken by the theatrics from the officials and Sheff Weds fans.

Was the game on Saturday good? (in your opinion) on 16:18 - Sep 19 with 1238 views | Kropotkin123 | We had a couple of good spells and limited them for most of the game. Jackson had a good game. If we won, we'd be talking about how well he played and his MOTM performance. Or how George Messi Edmundson walzed through one of the best midfields in the division to play Jackson in. Woolfenden also had a good game. As did Burns and Donacien. 51% of our play came down the right side (which is why Burns was gased and should have been subbed). Overall I didn't enjoy the game though, but I think that is because I was very nervy throughout. We needed to be calmer and gave too many freekicks away around our box.

Was the game on Saturday good? (in your opinion) on 09:13 - Sep 20 with 949 views | FrimleyBlue | I felt it was a lower end championship type of match, both sides cancelling each other out, tough battles around the pitch, a team getting back in in it from 2 down. it was a competitive fixture with no side being better than the other.

If you'd watched West Ham and Everton the other day, you wouldn't have thought our game was a lower end Champ game!
