Maybe been doing a bit of coaching, depends on his financial situation though which is of course a very personal thing. Life as a footballer in the lower leagues isn't as glam as some believe it to be though, for some. Fine if you're a Morsy on £500k a year but there's plenty of players in L1 on less than £30k a year, and it's a uncertain and short career.
There gets to a point where you're better off playing semi pro on the same money without the daily commitments and maintaining a day job as well. |  |

Bro-in-law played Conference / L2 level for 15 years, and in his days playing in the Conference for one of the part-time sides, some of the players in his side were earning £2k - £3k a week so they didn't need another job.
