"Not the Brexit I wanted" - Lord Wolfson on 14:55 - Nov 10 by blueasfook
Yes because economies are thriving around the world except stupid old Britain eh?
As explained above
"You only need to compare two parts of the UK....GB and NI. One is booming with high growth, the other stagnating with the lowest growth in Europe"
"The UK is forecast to have the lowest economic growth of any major economy bar Russia next year. The figures, released by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), show that the economy will come close to recession, with 0.0 per cent growth in GDP projected compared with this year’s figures."
The lie dimwitted brexiteers fell for was that once free of the supposed constraints of the EU the UK would thrive. Much as a many jumping over board from an ocean liner would be free to move (swim) at his own speed and direction.
Yes. giving up your ST at PR would mean you could purchase whatever ticket you wanted, sit where you want and pay far less than a ST cost for each game, Why, you would be ahead of Gold members for away tickets, and once free of that ST you would enjoy the same benefit with any other club in the PL & FL.
Absolute tosh, yet brexiteers fell for it. No amount of reasoned argument or fact based evidence would dissuade them otherwise. They had read what was written on the barn wall .. 'all brexiters are stupid, but some are more stupid than others'
The latter being those still in denial.

I voted for Brexit, howeve, not to stop immigration just to control the numbers comes & who we allow in. To have unlimited immigration is very well, how do you plan for the infrastructure required, schools, hospitals ect. I'm all for people wanting work here, though we need choose people with the skills we require.
Fair enough if that's the case, and tbh the lack of any proper debate on immigration due to, pretty much, name calling from both sides of the debate led us to a pretty crap place.
I don't have strong feelings on it FWIW, but the demonisation of immigrants from one side vs labelling anyone who questioned the merits of immigration racist was just a depressing cycle that ultimately fuelled a lot of the brexit arguments.
I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun.
I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

"Give or take there are the same number of EU born people in the Uk now as pre Brexit."
That is the only claim, as all evidence points to the opposite. The estimate being that one million plus EU workers have left the UK.
As expected, a feeble attempt to distract from the truth with guff about inflation. The reality is brexit has hit the UK hard, and continues to do so..
You only need to compare two parts of the UK....GB and NI. One is booming with high growth, the other stagnating with the lowest growth in Europe
This idiotic rightie parrot sketch does not stand up to evidence either, as
Businesses are leaving. More I suspect would be the case. were it a simple matter of hitching up a caravan and moving.
The 40 new deals on day one have not materialised. In fact the only new deal ratified so far has been that with Japan....which left the UK worse off. Whereas exporters are being crippled by brexit red tape, regulation and costs.
The sad thing is even six years after the lies, righties are still in denial. I expect righties on the Titanic would have denied it was sinking by claiming it was actually the sea which was rising.
Incorrect Harold. 3.7m before Brexit; 3.5m in 2021.

So no corroborative evidence, just rightie speak (made up stuff)
Where’s yours? Say for your statement of 1m EU people have left the Uk since Brexit? Or is this more Harold speak.

And you would do well to understand the meaning of words before stamping your little foot. The second one being the operative one (yours was a supposed statement of fact)

Are you pleased with who it has kept out and the positive impact it has had on the schools and hospitals, etc?

No, because one is factual whereas the other is an estimate (not by me)
perhaps an adult might be able to help you
So you don’t have any evidence. We got there in the end!

I wonder, are there any credible people standing up and saying, yep really happy with how Brexit is working, it is exactly what I wanted, everything is as good as we said it would be.

I would stop digging if I were you.
You posted something which you stated was fact. I posted something that stated it was an estimation. You lied. The inclusion of the word estimation was not by accident
I am not responsible for your inability to understand the meaning of words You would do well to read other folks posts more carefully next time

I have seen a few of these type of interviews.

It is almost like nobody who voted leave was actually voting for anything that would feasibly be implemented or would realistically work. It isn't as if they didn't get a "hard" enough Brexit either. In some ways I am glad they did because they can't argue that is the reason it isn't working.

Yeah I know what you mean. Pretty annoying that the price of being proven right is the country being f***ed though.

Yours was an estimate; I said more or less. Without reading too much as I’m a bit pushed, I think the link you sent me backed up what I said. More or less the same. I know your immediate reaction is to resort to insults when you’re proven wrong or backed into a corner and I don’t want you to misunderstand, I enjoy that very much.

Unfortunately they will - the German post WW1 myth that theywere 'stabbed in the back'.
If they chose to sit in the corner, fingers jammed into their ears, rocking to and fro muttering 'project fear, master knows best ", then it is unlikely they have come to their senses now, or admit they were conned.
Because I doubt they were conned really. I never met a brexiteer who was not a 'little Englander' who did not express some racist, xenophobic crap.
And I have no doubt they are now signed up as a full members of the 'wokey cokeys' spouting paranoid nonsense about blacks, women, CoE, BBC, NHS, climate change, education, etc.....
Brexit, like Trump, was a chance for normal folk to see how many loonies there are out there

That's a bit of a silly look.
Harry's link provided the 1m figure if you read it properly. You can't ask for a source and then claim not to have time to read it properly.
Then to claim you enjoy someone being proven wrong.
Oh dear.

So you are 'a bit pushed' ?
Which allows you to lie that the link backs you up. It actually does the opposite ?
And to comment on someone who is consistently lying and misrepresenting is somehow insulting, it would seem.
