Almost 30 minutes in and his influence very limited. Is this because Argentina are simply not that good? He is undoubtedly one of the best ever and will likely score in this game but in the previous game and so far tonight he has looked well below his club standards.

Very few, in my book, because greatness has to mean something more than coasting along in the first class lounge of European club football and failing to turn up in five successive World Cups. Pele, Maradona, Cruyff. Not many more. Harsh, perhaps, but greatness has to mean greatness, right?

Failed to turn up and still scored the same amount of goals as Maradona and only 1 less assist.
