I actually had a chat with their chairman about it a few years ago - met him and Alastair Campbell on a train after we'd played someone in the North-West - and he said Eddie Howe, who he'd worked with at Swindon previously, was the main reason he ended up going there, that they didn't offer particularly silly money. | | | |

A decision Roy got right. McCormack was trouble everywhere he went. Constantly signed as "the man to fire us to the PL" never did. Though he did score goals foe a few years.
As for Austin, past it for me. Wasn't there a clip of a half time bust up in Brisbane between him and another player? Perhaps not so forgotten about after all. |  |
