First off that was one of the most exciting games of football and atmosphere than I can remember Second having gone with Sheff Weds fans they were adamant that first half was the best they’ve played for seasons, and second half they were completely blown away by us They were physically ballistic in the first half and to come back from 2-0 down with them so dominant at that point is remarkable Look some players like Davis, Wolf, Humphreys and Clarke struggled in that first half - but these are young prospects are only going to get better and better… and I’m frickin excited to watch that That second half blitz from Town was wonderful… AND we also could have easily buckled under a series of set plays Yes of course we wanted a win… but this season is not over… and I’m excited to watch this team progress and watch our manager strengthen his experience COYFB

It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

I'm pretty sure that having any glimmer of happiness at a draw means you're a terrible fan and everything that's wrong with this club. I'm sure someone will be round in a minute to tell you this is why we're a pathetic fanbase.

I feel disheartened that we can’t seem to take off like other teams around us and have a good run of games but at the same time appreciate the team is work in progress and we are not losing games that we would have over the last few seasons. Wednesday will not feel so confident after this game and conceding 2 after being in front so that’s another plus. We are holding our own and as good as if not better than every other team in the league as our results show. We also now have goals from all of our new strikers so they can relax. The worse thing is our penalties for me - we dont get them often enough to not have a specialist that can score 90% of the time - Ivan Toney like. The fact that professionals are almost missing 1 out of every 2 or 3penalties is off for me and irks me no end.

Second half was much better but still no killer instinct, we had 40 mins to get a winner and didn’t really test their keeper.

I’m guessing they weren’t at PR today to witness a proper encounter between 2 proper teams. I’m gutted we didn’t get the 3 points we deserved, but football doesn’t always work like that. Second half was the best performance of the season and we made Wednesday look like Morecambe. Again the entitlement that we didn’t beat the currently team top of the league is incredible. Today was great. Brilliant atmosphere played with a high tempo. People on here called for KMs head - at half time!!!!!! Some of our fan base is embarrassing.

The penalty miss was huge as per McKenna post match views Win the next two games and we’re in a different place The second half showed we have the quality to do that Sheff Weds are a more experienced and currently stronger squad… and we blitzed them second half We have Wolf, Davis, Clarke, Humphreys … we are only going to get stronger

Unfortunately I have to agree with that. Our defence frightens me to death, they simply aren't go enough. Why on earth did we spend large parts of the budget on Hirst when it is clear we need a better defence. Unbelievable.

We were crying out for an upgrade at CB in the transfer window - appreciate we haven't go endless resources but given JJ is close to coming back, I think bringing Hirst in and not a new CB looks to be a mistake at this point in time.

With very little change, our defence was our strongest unit under McKenna at the end of last season and the beginning of this. What has changed?

I feel sometimes I’m watching different games and am connected to a differentï on 18:04 - Feb 11 with 5748 views | Ftnfwest | I’m enjoying the season no end considering what we’ve had for 20 years +. Noted the Wednesday players in the officials faces all game and at half time as they walked off. Reminded me that so matter who the manager is and who the players are that we’re always rubbish at cheating and intimidation, which sadly you need to be successful.
I feel sometimes I’m watching different games and am connected to a differentï on 18:07 - Feb 11 with 5669 views | JDB23 | Did we even have a shot on goal from open play second half? We controlled it but their keeper had barely anything to do, which is typical us. First half was shocking and the pen miss summed us up, pure bottle jobs. Very well could find ourselves 6 points off 7th place. We’re just not good enough I’m afraid.

Look, it’s quite simple. There are two teams out there, so that means we have a divine right to win every game and have a massive baby flounce if we don’t. It’s maths innit

I feel sometimes I’m watching different games and am connected to a differentï on 18:46 - Feb 11 with 5240 views | HARRY10 | I have to disgree Yes it was a cracking game, atmosphere and fightback. Had we been 2 up and then only drew I think there would not be the sense of achievement there was at the end However, this not teEvans era. We have new owners and were led to believe that we would pee the league. First season we didn't but lets have another go. However it matters little if we are overhauled by those around us who are steadily gaining on us. As if it is a play off place then it matters little if we finish 3rd or 6th. Automatic place is job done. Playoffs means we have 25% chance of success. whereas the though in summer 2021 was by now we would now be battling for promotion out of the Championship. We are not the 'plucky little underdogs' of the Evans era either. Money has been spent on and off the pitch. And I doubt those the otherside of the pond expected us to be where we are this far into the second season. 8 points out of the previous 21 does not suggest we a ripping up the league. Yes, much can happen in the final games. And much will. But McK was not brought in to learn the trade, and players were not brought in to sevelop either - though that does not preclude either happening,/ They were brought in/signed to get us into the Championship (and more). As it stands that is not looking likely to happen (note the words 'as it stands') via an automatic place. Perhaps the hype was a bit roo loud, our expectation a little too unrealistice, but as the thought of another season in L1 moves from 'not being on the cards' to a feint bit of doubt in supporters minds there will come the thought of how those across the pond will respond, if that doubt does harden into reality.

....realism about our deficiencies, at best they are merely glossed over. People who exaggerate any positives to the Nth degree leading to a totally false impression of our abilities and position. People who accept mediocrity. People who appear to be scared of adopting a winning mentality. People who, indirectly maybe, add to the pathetic soft underbelly of our club. People who applaud the team to relegation. ....."Happy Clappers"

Play like we did in the first 40 and we’ll be lucky to make sixth. That’s two horrendous first halves in a row, when it comes to the league.
