That Hirst goal, Towns 6000th, from a front to back masterclass

It did seem Clarke was given room today - and of course he played a blinder

The shrews seemed very focussed on Burgess, Davis, Luongo and Broadhead… which gave Burns space. Broadhead was very heavily marked

Thoughts??

Beautiful football. A couple of smart saves from Walton too.

COYB!

They didn't include Chaplin's goal that was ruled out for offside.

It’s interesting that hidden behind the brilliant emergence of Clarke, Broadhead and Luongo, the resurgence in the form of Burns, the confirmation that Hirst is feckin good (how could we doubt McKenna), and the beautiful cementing of the Burgess/Wolfie partnership…. secretly Walton had been slowly getting back to his best

He’s not hit the levels of last season or of early season form and has wobbles mid season… but he’s starting to look very confident in distributing and on the ball.. and the big saves are returning… it’s exciting

This is a team!

Was willing Walton to give Woolfy the ball early as it was one on one all the way down that side for that moment... it was executed brilliantly from end to end.

Doesn't show the "penalty" we should have had!
I'd like to see that again...

Two great goals. The movement and thinking of Hirst as he shimmies into position was great. Luongo must be psychic to one touch ram that deflection in

It’s on the YouTube highlights, doesn’t look offside to me. Chaplin was definitely onside for the cut back so the only question is whether Davies was off for the original ball over but doesn’t look like it. Glad it didn’t matter in the end…

You couldn't really tell from the angle on the TV anyway. Not sure if there's another photo floating about that shows the impact (or lack of it).
