Mckenna looks like a man enjoying life ATM 21:36 - Apr 19 with 1875 viewsBlueandTruesince82

Do you think part of it for him is he's finally getting to experience a degree of what he missed out on as a player?

Sure as a coach he's experienced big matches bur now being the main man, getting the adulation along with tbe players, finally living the dream he looked set for 20 years ago, all be it in a slightly different way.

Probably just enjoying being at a bigger club.

Truly impaired.

in the Town in 5 - at the end he looks absolutely chuffed to bits, out on the pitch, lapping it all up. To any fans who leave at or before the final whistle - you're not only missing out on a real bonding thang, but the players and manager are really into this, and it is this sort of experience that keeps them fired up and wanting to do it at Ipswich.

I think he’s enjoying building something. Who wouldn’t? It looks a perfect appointment for him at this stage of his career and us. About time things went our way!

Nah.... I think he likes solving puzzles and problems, and that's what makes him tick. He's pretty much solved every puzzle in this division, so far..(The obvious one remaining, is getting us over the line. A puzzle he'll relish, and may well have already solved)
He'll get the most out of the tools at his disposal. If he works out, that those tools, aren't good enough to solve the puzzle. He'll identify what is needed, during the process.. Last night, prime example of us, solving a puzzle, that, maybe six months ago, we wouldn't have solved during 90 minutes, most likely not having the tools to do so. Even if the knowledge was there.).. Imo, that's what genuinely puts a smile on KMs face. He proved himself right.

Just to add. I believe, that if and when KM does move on. It won't be for glory or money (Those things come naturally, if you are thoroughly professional and good at what you do).. It'll be out of boredom, if he goes. He would have taken us as far as possible, all things considered. And may want a new challenge at some point in the future. (Hopefully a good while from now). Just an opinion.

So, what you're saying is that he's particularly smarmy right now?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Yeah but I have to leave early because my gran suffers from spontaneous human combustion and my cat hides all the spoons, so I have to beat the traffic and get back half an hour quicker, and this only happens on match days (so the cinema, theatre and meals out are fine, we always stay to the end then). You just don't understand.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Although I have one complaint about the end of the game.

Broadhead just scores a crucial brace, we have a song for him, its about to get going and then "OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH" for the fist pump completely cut up the song which was a shame.

Still got a moan left in me.
