The sun n the back of my neck during the game was really hot. Quite random walking from the pub to the ground up what felt like country lanes. Glad it was a one-off trip.
Left half way through the second half as my brother was suffering from the heat. Managed to wave down one of the buses coming down the road and jumped on just as FG scored, s spent the journey back to the town nervously refreshing the scores.
There was some gobby tw@t who spent the first half berating Harness by sarcastically shouting "And that's our replacement for Celina!" every 2 minutes. He then disappeared as soon as the first goal went in. Also remember someone shouting early in the second half that he had beautiful eyes which raised a big smile from Harness.
Overall, never again. A novelty ground ticked off...
Lovely little club, shame they were relegated, the walk up the hill from the pub was tough, no vegan pie's at the away food cabin, very nice vegan sausage roll and beer though (I am not veggy or vegan BTW), they gave it a good go in the second half, overall a good away day.

I was there as a guest of Ian Burchnall, think it was his debut home game as FGR manager. He used to be my manager many moons ago, with Brian Deane as our assistant. We've stayed in touch ever since and he sorted me out with a pair of tickets.
I got hammered in Bristol the night before, got in at about 4am, poked a breakfast around a plate and then had to ask my mate to pull over on the way to Forest Green to be sick. Then had a horrendous walk to the ground in scorching sun and a monster hangover. Game was decent though.

Could well make it on the 'best remembrance of the season' list!!
Given a ticket for Charlton v Derby that day, so me and chums did that. Kept an eye on the phone and Charlton tv for the score but never doubted we’d win that one - rare for me. Made the free beers all the better when we did!

All a bit cramped after getting in, asked the bloke at the end of the queue, is this for the toilets or the food, he said he didn’t know! Seeing horses roaming on the common only a few minutes drive from the ground.
I couldn’t believe that this was the view from outside the ground. Whether that space was patrolled to stop people from watching from there I don’t know, but it was outside the confines of the ground https://ibb.co/K7vW03k

Where is my sat nav taking me? Is the bloke who promised me a ticket going to turn up? (see above comment) How hot is that sun on the back of my neck? Chucking hot dog sausages on the pitch is a bit wrong (but funny) Are we going to end up with a draw when we clearly deserve to win? Needn’t have worried about the result in the end… I going home via the M4
