Which mobile phone signal provider works best inside Portman Road?
My current O2 is useless, as was Plusnet.

Or is it my phone????

Yeah, I guess they're both BT?

EE works fine, other than at half time.

3 is usually ok.

Even better when you find out the wifi password.

Definitely not Tesco, my phone hardly ever works inside PR.

I know that's the complete opposite to what you asked, but every little helps, as they say.

Two things, set your phone to 3g at any major event to get a good data connection (until it is switched off) if changing go for a main provider, i.e. Vodafone, O2 or EE ect, not someone who piggybacks off a main provider like Tesco, Virgin, Sky ect. Vodafone or EE seem to give best coverage in Suffolk/East Anglia in general.

Tesco is O2.
Vodafone is rubbish too!

A trick that worked for me at Portman Road was to set mobile data to work on 3G rather than 4G. Unfortunately when I moved to a 5G capable phone the option to run on 3G data was lost. Now get pretty much zero data at home games. {Edit: Hadn't noticed same suggestion in previous post! ]

Why? Don't they use exactly the same network?

Truly impaired.

I have tried that 3g thing, but it didn't make any difference.

My son is on 3 and usually gets reception at PR even at half-time. I’m on Sky (O2 backend) and get nothing once inside the ground

I am with Plusnet (EE) which struggled at half-time as I suspect all networks do. As Plusnet Mobile closes soon I am currently switching to Lebara (Vodafone) on the 5GB 99p a month rising to £5.90 a month offer ( https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheap-mobile-finder/sim-only/ ). Lebara are one of the few to offer free roaming in Europe, with most firms now using their Brexit freedoms to hammer us with extra charges when we travel to Europe on holiday.
