I finished the books, yeah all of them, not too long before the first season dropped. It's an awesome tale, but very, very hard to transfer to the screen and was intrigued to know how they would try.

I quite enjoyed seaon one but clearly know what's supposed to be going on, Ms Coastal quite enjoyed it but really didn't have a scooby.

Has season 2 dropped? I think it was delayed for LOTR?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Currently going through the series. Only got Sanderson’s left now.

I think I’ve 25% really enjoyed it, 25% thought it was okay and 50% thought it was utter tripe.

The great bits are the world, some of the characters and the fights.

The okay is some of the characters.

The bad is the Aes Sedai, 80% of the female characters, the constant braid tugging, the adding of characters at every opportunity who offer nothing to the story, the convoluted plot to get from a to b, the complete lack of a competent editor who could have cut out lots of waffle… I could go on.

I’ve heard Sanderson finishes it well which is pretty much the only reason I’m committed to finish.

I would also genuinely say that New Spring, the prequel, is the worst book I’ve ever read. And I genuinely mean that.

Not watched the show yet. I’m going to finish the books as I have the characters already built in my mind, but I’m not hopeful for when I do watch it…
