Sunak being disingenuous?

I'm utterly shocked.

I wonder how many helipads are earmarked for construction within that budget.

Into the long grass. Not a penny will be spent. This shower of brown stuff doesn’t believe in investment in anything. It never did, never will.

Why don’t they just abandon on this ‘levelling up’ drivel. It was always nonsense. Just lies to gloss over the fact that they just don’t care.

The moment when this detritus is shovelled into the dustbin of history can’t come a moment too soon.

Not to mention it includes the tramline to Manchester airport that opened in 2014 and something similar in the East Midlands.

Indeed. This 'work' doesn't start until after the election - interesting timing!

Part of me can't believe people will fall for this, but then again Brexit happened so part of me thinks many will.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.
