There's loads of water deer and muntjac around too that are definitely not as timid in the wild as red deer are and wander quite near very populated areas.

The polar bear thing on the train has become my new landmark to spot on train rides.


I was running through some fields near Hessett a few weeks ago, turned a field corner and arrived at sleeping stag that proceeded to wake up and bound off. Tremendously scary experience for both parties!

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Coulda been a lot worse, coulda been a sleeping hen party you disturbed. Woulda been lucky to get out alive.
