Why so many stewards lined up alongside Blue Action? 21:21 - Oct 28 with 1725 viewsBLUEBEAT

Almost as many as those alongside the away support.

Poll: ACID, FUNK, ACID FUNK?

Think a lot of clubs equate fans being loud and jumpy etc with being trouble makers.

I always thought they have more stewards at that corner in case opposition fans surged across the front of the Upper Cobbold en route to the North stand. Obviously theyd never even get across Block C, being decimated by a rain of scalding earl grey from a hundred thermos flasks.

It was a response to the trouble at the Wolves cup game a few weeks back apparently. A load on herberts bought tickets in the section, broke a seat and hussed it at stewards, plus other general tw@tery. Blue_Order spoke to the head of the security as he was setting up saying they were hoping to 'infiltrate' this group of lads - got wind that they'd managed to get back into the section for the game? No idea. But he was keen to stress that it was only temporary. They're happy to give us a long leash in there and we've generally done a good job of managing the section ourselves, so no dramas. They'd already all cleared off by the second half...

Did seem a lot yesterday, police as well at the back and both stayed through the second half. Maybe understandable if previous incidents (I wasn’t there for Wolves). Can only speak for myself but I go in A block to vocally support Ipswich - not interested in anything else but that. My sense is they’ll see majority there for same reason and therefore move on at some point.
