Am I right in thinking we have him signed on loan for next season too?

No.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Don't think so.

I think it’s agreed that he stays with us if promoted, not sure if we’re in the championship. But I imagine a deal could be done once Brighton see what other offers they get for him

I don't think it's been stated categorically, but the implication was that a second season was an option which, I presume, he and his side would only want to enact if Ipswich went up.

That said, countless clubs are watching him by all accounts so any loan would also depend on him not being sold elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure that's right.

But from his perspective, while he's had some fantastic "impact sub" appearances, he hasn't started many games and in reality, particularly if we get promoted, as things stand his likelihood of starting many games is questionable.

I'd love to keep him, but he may want more guarantees of starts.

Yes, if we go up. Brighton's development plan for him is to have him play Premier League minutes next season, just not for them.

If he isn't with us, he'll be offered to the three that go up.

There is definitely a facility for that to happen. Not quite sure of the terms, though.
