A great example of poor writing.
Ipswich fans aren't wondering what if because we are living the what if.

You’re absolutely right it’s an odd headline. The article itself, while a bit bland and not really saying anything new, is fair enough and the idea that Town fans will be wondering why it didn’t work out for Cook is ok, albeit we’re very happy with how things turned out. But on no planet is anyone asking “what if?” And tbf to the writer I don’t think he says that, it’s only the headline that does.

Their cunning plan is to write headlines so stupid you have to click the link at least three times just to make sure that really was what they said.

Don't employ managers called Paul is a lesson here from the article

"McKenna has been the man to bring success back to Portman Road after years of underachievement under a host of managers, including the likes of Roy Keane, Paul Jewell, Mick McCarthy, Paul Hurst, Paul Lambert and Paul Cook"

Is it AI? MSN had a bizarre story on us a few days ago with a headline which didn't make any sense and a story which took a number of massive leaps to even be remotely relevant.

I think MSN just republishes stories from other places for the most part, which is fun because Football League World do the same thing so you've just got articles being written once and then published in all sorts places.

I like Paul Cook, a good lower league manager. I live close to Chesterfield and have seen them live twice this season. Dobra looked good as well. Good fortune to both of them but neither are ITFC quality..
