Review apparently concluded and contract extension being discussed.

Good news!

Ten Hag is not the problem at Old Trafford. Dare I say it's about time they backed the manager over some of the underperforming players! I said the same for Moyes who they binned quickly post Fergie.

Massively speculative this, but I wonder if they see Kieran as a viable replacement in a year's time, if he builds his reputation even further by getting us a mid-table (or better) finish given where we've come from? If so, do they maybe fancy assisting us with some favourable loans or transfers with buy back deals?

ETH seems like a bit a plonker, but I bet if he had the backing of the board to do a full rebuild, United would start rising up again. When you have been a revolving door for some of the best managers in the world, then you have to seeing the issues are not that clear cut.

Not sure United would be offering an extension to Ten Hag if that was the plan. That's if the rumour is true of course!

ManU fans I've spoken to mostly say the same.

They often add a ManU style of play, which is more Fergie-style attacking than possession-based or defensive. Solskjaer understood that, but the player mentality wasn't up to it at the time.

It's speculative but not massively so I would say. As far as deals and loans go, do you think we might have learned a lesson on Williams and treat any player Man. Utd. wanted to shift out of their squad with extreme caution ?

I can’t see a contract extension either. I think they’ll sit tight and wait for KMc, which as mentioned above could well be a year away. But I think they’ll wait even if it ends up being 2 years away.

Interestingly the BBC article had absolutely no mention of KM, as if there was no previous mention (they did of course mention all the other names rumoured).
