I think the fact that one of the journalists asked the question if it was a serious manifesto, says all we need to know. It's honestly wild. It's like they've just dictated everything ever, and said they are going to address with absolutely no plan on how to do so. Although that income tax threshold hike to 20k would be great.
This one stands out - excerpt taken from the Guardian liveblog - So how will they fund it? One major part is £50bn in govt waste. Is that feasible? Worth pointing out that the @instituteforgov say the entire salary bill of the civil service is £16bn.

We joke about ideas written down on the back of a fag packet, but in this case there is a genuine argument for it.
Sprinkling of dog whistling for extra spice, sad thing is we live in a country where a large proportion of the population are lapping it up, but when you have to parties like Labour and Tory akin to two bald blokes fighting over a comb, then that's when the likes of Nigel Mosley look to fill a void.

I dint think Immigration has "spiralled' out of control and certainly net migration hasn't.
What has happened is some self serving politicians who made their names blaming the EU for the issues in the UK got their way and we left Europe. That hasn't gone exactly as they predicted.
So now they keep themselves in the public eye and keep their bank accounts topped up by blaming immigrants for the issues in the UK.
And somewhat unbelievably there are a large number of people who having fallen for the EU lie and now falling for the immigrant lie.
Its easy to create a following blaming someone else for everything thats wrong, its much harder to actually try to tackle the real issues
which the like of Farage wont do as there is no money in it for them | |

I know so many people that voted for Brexit, made a big thing about it, then got really angry that they were lied to, it was empty promises, there was no £360m a week and they felt really stupid about being duped.
Guess what percentage of them now seem to be suggesting they might vote for the very same party, led by the very same man, who has the very same fictional views on foreigners.
I honestly thought they'd have learned from last time, but like those that vote from Trump or Boris they seem to be aware they were conned, but willing to do the same dance all over again.
