It's not looking good just hope he realises he will get more game time and better coaching at Town.

The coaching’s pretty good at Palace on the evidence of last season.

I don’t feel like they’re a genuine source.

Nah we will be fine.
Those two in the new kit tomorrow or early next week.

I'm hoping that the kit launch is the reason for the delay in announcing these signings, because otherwise, it does not bode well. They have had the offer from us for quite some time now, so what have they been waiting for if the financials are all acceptable?
I really do think if they are not part of the launch this morning, we will have lost out on 2 of our top targets; so really hoping for some good early news today.

Hope the lad has spoken to Hutch who has told him he arrived as a young talent with loads of promise and in a season had been turned into a £20m Premier League Player

In all honesty we should be paying ITFC for the level of coaching you get here

If the Palace interest is true I will be surprised if he signs for us. I think Greaves is the more important signing but it seems to have gone very quiet on that front.

Pretty much agree with you on this. I think the talk of revealing signings along with the kit will be wide of the make - it’s just not McKenna and Ashtons way of doing th8ngs.

Palace will be difficult to beat. They are an established PL team, have an excellent coach and a history of taking youngsters and turning them into top players. They have more players in the England squad at the EUROs than any other team, which also demonstrates players can progress their career their.

Another factor that could go against, is that he was born in Hammersmith, London so might fancy a move back to the capital. Still think the McKenna draw is a big one in our favour, especially for a young player. Wonder who he supports?

Not a Mummy. Don't have short arms.

This is the kind of post that gets a million downvotes, but if I was him I’d sign for Palace.

They’re far more established in the Premier League/less likely to get relegated (sorry), a track record of playing and improving younger players, a track record of getting players into the England squad, a gap in their attacking line now Oliseh (and probably Eze) will/have gone, and isn’t he a Londoner anyway?

I don’t plan on starting an alternative career as a hostage negotiator.

I'd be very (pleasantly) surprised if me chooses sleepy Suffolk over Saaaf Laaandan, and Palace do have a good record of developing the type of player he is.

Will take a massive offer to tempt him to come here, me thinks.

Palace were the stable team I’d feared coming in for him. Not sure on the source but would be a decent move for him either way you can’t deny that. I believe his friends with Omari and we have chased him over a year now so all factors to consider in our favour as well as McKenna obviously. There is also the double deal which may suit Hull but perhaps clutching there with that one.
I’d imagine we would switch to Yasper Asprilla type player pretty quickly.
I think Greave would be a bigger one to miss out on from the two tbh. LCBs hard hard to come by.
Maybe some news today…

I was born in Hammersmith too; moving to North Croydon has never appealed to me.

If he supported a local club growing up he'd be QPR, Fulham or Chelsea, but who knows - I'm a lifelong Ipswich fan
