Villa haven't spent all summer trying every trick in the book to meet financial fair play to then spend £12m - £15m (whatever they pay minus the sell on) for a player they will then loan back to the club he was already at.
Likewise, Philogene, having offers from Ipswich, Palace, Everton, Villa and (possibly) Barca, who stated he's moving to the Premier League, is not going back to Hull next season.

I honestly doubt it is that deep. While this situation is sensitive to us - to him it is a case of being given 3 offers to consider and he'll no doubt pick one soon. As for joining Hull's preseason - every player wants to be fit and training, and it is his club. He can get a plane back as quick as he got one out there - if his is actually there at all. | |

That doesn’t make sense. I don’t think on the verge of joining a new club you fly to the other side of Europe just to say goodbye. Especially when those clubs expect you at their ground to put pen to paper. Maybe Hull have got fed up with the saga and his agent playing it and just said get your bum out here and start training then. |  |
