It's nice that goodman is giving us credit for what we achieved last season. Must be quite tough for a die hard leeds fan to do, but i don't see why he's already writing off pompy, much of the championship is fairly average so they could surprise a few, get momentum and then beat leeds and norwich to the top 2

Would be nice to see Reuben Swann do well. (There must be a bit of an inquest going on at Colchester!)

I wonder what he thinks of the Meslier situation at Leeds. Apparently he has turned down a move to Marseille because they are only offering him £70k a week and that would mean a reduction on his weekly Leeds wage - thought to be £85k a week.
Clearly didn't have an automatic reduction for relegation in his contract. Although maybe he did and he was on over £100k a week in the prem.
Crazy wages

He's not even a great keeper.

It’s interesting in that Plymouth struggled while we did not, so Portsmouth don’t really have a marker. Making top two is a tall order but who knows - they certainly might challenge for play offs given how they dominated L1 and how Sunderland did a couple of seasons ago.

Goodman? Awful pundit.

If leeds needed him off the wage bill could he not have agreed a wage settlement from them for the remainder of his contract for the difference between the 70 and 85k?

“Beat leeds and norwich to the top 2”

Norwich aren’t getting anywhere near the top 2…!
