They changed the system last season to what we have now so didn't goto as many games last season plus they dropped league 1 points from your total so I went from 30+ points 20+ you have to work the system as if you drop out of the top tier you will struggle to get back in |

No 17 is not enough. I want to go to every game. It's what I live for. I did the hard yards, going home and away during the Keane/Jewell/McCarthy/Hurst/Lambert eras because I love the club, and hoped that 1 day my loyalty would be rewarded, and I'd see us back in the Premier League, and potentially Europe.
To be completely honest with you, I don't care about other fans wishes to just want to attend a couple of away games so they can share the PL experience. All I care about is being able to get a ticket for myself, so I can continue doing what I've done for the past 15 years every week. |  |

It sounds like supporting your team has been a total sufferance. And ive been doing it for alot more than 15 years.
How about we all support our team from the person getting their first tickets to the ones who have bought season tickets through the less glamorous times.

No no... what I've learnt since we brought the system in on here an social media is that fairest way is always the way the benefits the person complaining, and their "solution" is one that just so happens - by pure coinsidence I'm sure - to increase their chance of getting a ticket. |

When you travel to Burnley on a Tuesday night expecting a half decent performance, and lose 4-0, or you go to Barrow on a Wednesday night and lose 2-0, you question whether it was worth it.
But then you go to Bolton away and witness a last minute winner from Michael Chopra to get a 2-1 victory, and it gives you so much joy.
The issue you have is with the system the club has in place regarding Memberships, not with the fans that go week in, week out. But as I said previously, you must have been aware of the points system last year, so it's your own fault if you thought you'd be able to get away tickets on points only equating to the amount of away games you went to last season. | |

If you're lucky enough to be successful in the ballot once or twice, then you'll be happy right? Unless it's only certain games you're interested in.
I can also understand that people aren't too sad about someone who only went to two games in our League One promotion season not being able to get a ticket at the first time of asking. | |

The one thing that Man City away has shown is that there is clearly an increased demand simply because we are in the PL. 3k allocations last season - in the north half of the country anyway - went to public sale on numerous occasions. Today saw them gone in the 15+ category, which given 10 points for 2 memberships means 5-9 games last season. That's actually a pretty low threshold IMO.
However, I do wonder how many tickets will be bought by upper tier members for games they can't attend, simply in order to 'keep ahead'? | | | |

I do deny it.
As Ive said anyway who is a season ticket holder or spent money getting an away membership, should have a guarantee of at least one away match. Or what's the point of the away membership at £30?
I probably would have had 16 points if I had bought the poxy away membership and not used my season ticket priority instead.
People who go regularly away should feel that they could miss a few games for the greater good of the wider fanbase. |
