I really want it to work for him. He's got so many good attributes but I feel he's between a rock and hard place.

For me, he's not quite got the qualities to displace Morsy or Luongo and with KP and our new Swede it's looking less likely he'll get playing time in that slot.

I think his best position for us would be in the Chappers role, more forward, more attacking, not least as he has a shot on him but actually I think he's better suited for that role for us.

Given Chappers is off the pace at the moment and Hutch's best position is wide right, I hope he gets some game time in that role. With Broady and Hirst out at the moment, he might just get some game time?

As I say, I really want it to work for him but it's like he's trying to hard (which is entirely understandable) when he gets on and it's not clicking.

I said yesterday that a season long loan in the Championship would do him so good.

He needs to be playing regularly at his age and his game time will be very limited here. If he does well then he puts himself in contention for next season.
