Yes. nodge created 2 good openings all match and hit them at the keeper or wide/against the post. Aside from those two moments, Palace have been in complete control. The commentator seems to be catching up now and suggesting Palace will win. | |

Nodge fans have spent the last 5mins singing "we've got/lost the ball"; apparently that's evidence that they're impressed by what they've seen from their side.

Indeed. That is a sign of admitting your team has been well and truly second best and being thankful they have some possession.
It is a little odd because actually they have had quite a lot of the ball (in their own half whilst Palace are happy to sit off them at 1/2/3-0 up). | |

To be fair, I think they will surprise a few this season. I don't think everyone expects them to be closer to the bottom 3 than the top half. | |

To be fair, a lot of commentators are not very clued up in reality, so whilst THEY were expecting Norwich to be out of the blocks like a train a lot of more sensible people(and me) already knew that they were going to not have a good time of it this season(so far). [Post edited 28 Aug 2024 9:29]

I didn't know they were playing Palace last night. Got back from central around 7 and was surprised to see one Nodger in Cry Pal station, thinking, 'You don't get many of them round here". When you realise they were playing Palace that's pretty lame, although I imagine most will come through Norwood Junction.
Anyway, nice to hear they got tonked. |  |
