Who was not going to be registered? Everyone assumes it was Taylor don’t they? However, there were no rumours of a loan for him (like Edmundson and Harness), no mutual cancellation like Ladapo. Taylor is far too good a player and asset to have no chance of playing until the FA Cup in January. I believe it was made clear before the collapse of hoth Broja and Nelson deal that Al Hamadi was staying despite rumoured interest from WBA.
All this, plus the signing of Ogbene (and pursuit of Nelson) has got me worried about Wes Burns' injury. McKenna gave updates on Hirst, Broadhead and Harry Clarke yesterday. However, it's 2 weeks today since Wes pulled up and we've heard nothing to my knowledge other than the initial 'several weeks'. Could it be that it was going to be Wes not registered until the the next window due to his injury?

Wes is proving to be a bit injury prone, common amongst fast wingers I guess. Think the Ogbene signing was the correct cover required. Means we have more flexibility with Hutchinson. Wes will be named in the 25, I am pretty sure of that. |  |
