On You Tube from 2013 at Glenrothes CC. Aside from being great entertainment, he slipped in that at 17 in 1981, Bobby Robson wanted to sign him for Ipswich but Molby felt he was too young to move to England. I never knew this and I'm gutted. Outside of Town players, Molby was my all time favourite, a hulk of a man with sublime twinkle toes and natural ability that belied his frame. |  |

Met him in fanzone before Liverpool game. Absolute gent, said I'd always admired him as a player even tho he'd scored against us with that free kick at Anfield in the cup! "Just doing my job!" he replied. Asked about KM and Town and our back to back promotions. Genuinely a nice fella. And a superb midfielder. |  | | |

I seen him playing for a Liverpool 'all stars' team in a friendly at Sligo Rovers about 10 years ago. He'd put on quite a few pounds. I was standing near the corner flag and at one point Jan charged down towards me and i sh1t you not the floor was shaking.
I even stepped to the side a few feet in fear of him not being able to stop and just going straight through me.

I wonder if he'd moved to Town whether he'd have landed up with a Suffolk accent as strong as, say, Brian Talbot's, rather than the Scouse he acquired. (I seem to remember his accent was perfected when spending some months in prison for driving offences.) |  | | |

I àm from Liverpool, his accent is impeccable with no flaws discernible to me. Just a magnificent player. Sir Bob knew that too by the sounds of it. | |
