I did wonder if the rumour about Ben Chilwell the other week might have been linked to that. Perhaps there's been a bit of stickiness in negotiations, and Town are keen to show that he's not irreplaceable.

What worries me is now unrealistically low release clauses.
Must be worth considerably more than when he signed last contract. Same May apply to other players too. |  |
