Walton coming in for Everton? on 14:08 - Oct 6 by WestSussexBlue
What?? He was in no man’s land for a West Ham effort that they didn’t take, he played the ball straight to Morsy who had a player on his shoulder, took a heavy touch which they capitalised on to score their Fourth. Hardly inspiring for the defence. He’s always got an amazing save in him but he’s also shown already that he’s got more than the odd questionable decision.

Perhaps Morsy was a little tightly marked, but I don't mind that too much as long as there's an angle for a second pass to pass to someone who isn't. If Morsy had got the one-touch pass right, we wouldn't be talking about this. Pass from keeper to tightly marked outfield player was how we scored some goals last season, eg Hull at home. Muric was much more at fault for no-mans-land cross, and not hoofing instead of trying to control Johnson's awful back-pass for their fourth as you say.
Too early to judge. Muric needs to be 10% more cautious with his feet and coming off his line. String some 7/10 performances together to build the defence's sense of security in him. At the moment, he's 9/10 followed by 4/10.

Blo**y excuses his here on thousands of pounds his on the pitch for a hour and a half at weekend all he has to do is keep the ball out the net make good decisions what the hell has it got to do with relocation wakey wakey.
Do you not think things away from football might have an impact on player's performance?! It's like we see them as robots, see ball, kick ball. It doesn't matter how much they are paid, they still have things going on in their daily lives that none of us are aware of when they cross that white line. I'd have a look at what all clubs have now got in place, it's called Player Care - we have it at ITFC - it plays a vital role in the modern game. Wakey, wakey!

The pass was never on in the first place and was far too tight for Morsy to get a pass off to anyone unless they were on the 6-yard box. Muric’s fault.

No sorry I don't unless a family tragedy. I remember when Robbie Keanes wife had a baby and they asked Roy Keane if he was fit to play he said I didn't no Robbie had a baby. Have to man up and get on with it . I understand when they are 16 and leave home for the first time, but I'm sure Muric moved to the UK is used to it.

And the other 30% of his passes results on shots on our goal where he has played a stupid ball.
Most of those inaccurate passes are where he has gone long. 71 passes with a 40% accuracy rate (and as Shefford Blue pointed out yesterday, this is a pretty average, not poor statistic for keepers at this level). Yet some people on here want him to be doing that more often and giving possession away.
He needs to learn when to play out and when not to at times but lets not exaggerate things here. The only goal we've conceded from his error was the one at City. Against Brighton, Southampton, Villa, Fulham there were no errors playing out from the back? We lost against West Ham because virtually everyone had an off day not because Muric cost us the game.
