One would presume it will be Cleverly with that total (and especially taking Tugendhat's support) Vs one of the reform party voters champions in the final.
It'll be interesting to see how the numbers are tomorrow and equally the membership and how they will go.

nb I'm a neutral ... just love the sport.

Badenoch will win it (assuming MPs don't team up to keep her out of the final 2), which is the best news the Labour party could hope for and will see the continual decline of the Tories.

Not that this leader will likely be in charge for 2029 election anyway, as the Tories will no doubt pivot even further right.

It's going to be interesting.

Cleverly seems the front runner but let's not rule out the Tories doing something insane. Remember this is the party that elected Liz Truss to not only be their party leader but also the Prime fooking Minster

They should elect a tin of beans. Far more use than the idiots standing. Given they’re just there to be laughed at, I’m amazed anyone was dopey enough to take the job. Maybe they think if they do it, they’ll get a knighthood or something from whoever the PM is in ten years time.

Cleverly voted out. Bit of a shock that.

What dark arts are these I awake to .. I’m sure they’re trying to play the long game.. bring back the reform voters initially and then move quietly more to the centre without whoever wins the run off I’m presuming a few years down the line ?

To be fair this seems more likely on recent evidence.

One would presume that’s what Cleverley thought before ‘lending’ some of his votes to Jenryck - not realising that the two nut jobs he was up against had already done the same to him.

Not too clever really
