EV Charging Question 13:46 - Oct 15 with 648 viewsBad_Boy_Mark

Hi folks,

I need to ask for some advice from the TWTD hive mind.

We now have a plug-in hybrid vehicle, but don't yet have a home charging point (will soon be installed)

In the meanwhile, we hope to use some of the public charging network but there are a myriad of options!

We have been given free access to a Zoom EV package, and one of the options within that is for Octopus Electroverse. This appears to enable us to use many different networks to charge from, without the need for different cards, accounts, logins etc

Does anyone have any experience with this and is a good option?

Many thanks for any advice

Recently got an EV and have electroverse, we've only used it once because mostly we charge up at home using a granny charger.

It seems good, there is very wide coverage of charging points, you can use the electroverse app and/or order electroverse card to charge up with, there are discounts at some chargers - usually at specific times of day, and if your electricity supplier is Octopus you can bill the charge to your electricity account. There is also a record of your charging sessions in the app, and the app is pretty good for route planning and finding charge points, with live information about their state and whether they are currently occupied.

Hope that helps
