The Clarke sending off 17:53 - Oct 26 with 1969 views | Dubtractor | He got the ball didn't he? Seemed an unbelievably harsh decision.

The Clarke sending off on 17:59 - Oct 26 with 1892 views | gainsboroughblue | Just seen it. Fcking diabolical call. Someone may correct me but I can't think of anything that's gone in our favour this season.

The Clarke sending off on 18:00 - Oct 26 with 1861 views | LankHenners | I agree. Clarke had a dodgy game for sure and got caught out which made him make the challenge in the first place but he definitely pokes the ball away and Lewis-Potter goes over him. I'd get rid of VAR completely but as we have it it seems daft they can't look at sendings off for 2nd yellows as the ref could well make an error (which I think he does here) which can have a big impact on the match. The ref seemed very keen to give things Brentford's way today for some reason - the Davis yellow for 'time wasting' was utterly ridiculous and on the whole they were allowed to be much more physical on us than we were on them.

The ref was dreadful. You could see early on that he was a homer. Only reffing his 4th Premier League game and it showed big time. Clarke got the ball which was pretty obvious given the way it deviated. Think the Premier League are still gutted that we went up and not Leeds United.
The Clarke sending off on 18:07 - Oct 26 with 1708 views | GlasgowBlue | I thought he did. Not a straight red though so can't be appealed. [Post edited 26 Oct 2024 18:07]

Will we be able to appeal it, I assume not?

No, can't appeal if the sending off is the result of two yellows. Which, by the way, I think is absolute guff.

No because it was a yellow and not a straight red.

Defo a foul but he started hauling him down outside. I'm sure there's some giff new rule that makes it a penalty though

I've only seen the highlights. They make Clarke look a bit unlucky but also perhaps more than a bit out of his depth. I think it's a pen. [Post edited 26 Oct 2024 19:00]
