The ref didn’t cost us the points today Phillips did. 17:22 - Nov 2 with 2224 viewsWallingford_Boy

All his experience and he does that just when we needed everyone.

The pen may have been dodgy, but you can’t calling the premier league corrupt because of that is laughable.

And he’ll be the first to admit it in the changing rooms I’m sure, but too late now.

RIP Sir Bobby

You're going to have to work hard to get your attention tonight. There's plenty of pricks competing with you.

Neither of his fouls were yellows really, Leicester players made a meal of both. The second was ridiculous barely made contact.

The only Muff in Town.

The penalty wasn't dodgy, it was stonewall. It would have been called a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

And Phillips pulled out of the challenge and barely touched their player. One of the softest yellow cards I've ever seen.

Maybe phillips should have been subbed to minimise the risk of that happening late in the game?

It's a foul every time in the box, without a bent ref and VAR. Don't worry i'm sure we'll get our 20 seconds on MoTD where they won't even show it.

The first one was definitely a yellow lol. Smashed into the back of his head. The second one was soft.

Reminded me of that sh1tty game against S.Weds at home where Toto Nsiala got a red card purely based off of reaction.

I know a lot of the time it is easy to blame the ref - but today was a really BAD performance from the officials. Phillips was the victim of a ref who was trigger happy. Neither fouls were solid yellows imho

Seem them given of course. But I'd be fuming if it was given against.

Darren Ambrose thought that Phillips's first foul could have been upgraded to a red because of the use of the elbow. We've had marginal decision go against us in both the last 2 games, costing us maybe 3 point in total, but anyone who thinks there is some corrupt conspiracy against our club is an utter moron. I know Wolves & Chelsea fans who, last season, were convinced of the same after some clearly wrong decisions went against their team.

I don't belive for a second there is a conspiracy, but the officiating today was really not very pretty at all.

I like Ambrose but that was never going to be a red. The way Ambrose was talking it was as if he elbowed him in the head.

I agree it wasn't a red (although naturally I am biased) but some on here think a yellow was harsh. And when you're on a yellow, you have to be more careful.

Darren Ambrose is proving to be a pillock of a commentator and I'm sick of hearing him on international broadcasts, he's so fixated on being impartial to further his own career he's practically anti Ipswich.

I said at the time that Ambrose was talking out of his arse. Phillips made a challenge side-on and any use of the elbow was entirely accidental.

It's a feckin contact sport!

Frimley, sorry but you're talking nonsense. I've now watched it back 6 times and it remains as stonewall a penalty as it looked in real time. Chaplin feigns a sideways movement and is clattered by the defender.
