Defeat ( not quite! ) snatched from the jaws of victory. 17:52 - Nov 2 with 474 views | Eireannach_gorm | Played well, got the required goal and then failed to manage the game. Plenty of excuses, the ref was poor, VAR didnt help us, important injuries, Phillips brain fart, Sam not kicking it into row 'Z'. All of these ( and probably more ) are valid reasons for the result but the bottom line is we are not quite good enough which means we lose all the marginal decisions. Really, Really wanted us to get the win and the disheartening thing is we had it in our grasp. Unfortunately thats why I think that is unlikely that we stay up. I'm not giving up on the team but its important to acknowledge what we are seeing week in, week out. COYB.

Well Leicester do love their rugby union. But I agree with the OP. As much as we want to point the finger, we make too many basic errors. The run up to their goal was horrendous, especially from Morsy and Burns. And, whilst I understand why he did it, in hindsight taking Hutchinson and Delap off was a massive error. Actually, in Hutchinson's case, it's not hindsight - I didn't like it at the time as he was one player with true pace who could stretch play.
