My uncle who lived on a south facing slope in a valley in Cornwall has been doing his all year round since before the turn of the century until he passed away a few years ago.

But never thought I’d be doing mine in Ipswich as late as this.

I was thinking a couple of weeks ago I'd give it it's final cut (well I say I'd but in reality it's the auto lawnmower that does it). Looks like Morris will be staying out for another few weeks now.

Poll: At what price would you sell our 32 year old Leading Scorer Murphy this summer?

Cut the lawn yesterday, my latest cut ever, usually mid October final cut. But inspired as heard mowers to my right and mowers to my left!! Grass very damp and mossy but now looks good cut short but how long before it needs another mow? Hopefully not until late March! Another sign of climate change?

First cut is usually second half of February, but these days, who knows?!
