Burns and J.Clarke haven't really given enough cover so far this season. That was a big difference to me today with Johnson and Szmodics. It also allowed Hutch to drift right and not get in the way of anyone. Not sure it's a case of drifting into it but fixing things that weren't quite right.

I’ve not seen today’s game yet, but I have the other two. It feels like we are settling into it.

New players have been at the club a few months, the level of the PL is known and the players are beginning to get what McKenna wants from them and in turn KM is understanding more about his players. What I’m trying to say is that it’s a combination of factors.

The good news is that we have players to come back from injury and suspension. We have players who have come up the divisions with us who are adjusting well, like Chaplin and others like J Clarke who will in time.

I’m a happy bunny tonight.

Think having Axel back helps a lot as well.

The only Muff in Town.

I'd say it's horses for courses. Today's line up and formation very much suits us away from home but I would expect Chaplin to come back in for our hime games with Hutchinson moving back onto the right. Although maybe against the bigger teams we will stick to today;'s formation whether home or away.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

Certainly for today, but he might feel other systems and personnel will work better against other teams.

I just loved how we made the most of hutch today.

He wasn't wide right but he spent a lot of time in it and caused problems. He didn't spend to long in the middle either which meant he wasn't trying to battle with spurs to much. This was helped by delap who was everywhere in his spell and protected hutch in the middle alot imo.
