Ipswich 6 Manchester City 1 19:50 - Nov 23 with 701 viewscymroglas

I had a B at Maths GCSE. We beat Spurs 2-1 last week and Spurs have beaten City 4-0 just now. 4+2 = 6. The 1 stays the same. So 6-1 we would have won tonight

I can confirm that’s exactly how it works

That works both matches were away for Spurs and us so I am looking forward to when we visit there.

Unfortunately, I can't see City playing that poorly again when we do. Spurs are a very inconsistent side.

A win tomorrow will be enough for now. Lift us back out of the relegation zone.

Schoolboy error.

Spurs scored four times as many goals against City as they did against us.

We scored 2 against Spurs.

4x2 = 8

We conceded a goal but Spurs tonight kept a clean sheet.

1x0 = 0

So 0-8.

We visit where? I’m confused now as we’ve played both away.

By the way, I’ve now found a flaw in the OP’s maths. Everyone knows that away goals count double.

Ah, I forgot. Thought we had played City at home. Doh!
