Agree. Plymouth look like a struggling League 2 side. Missing their best players too.

Amazing what can happen in 18 months.

They pip us for the League One title, now getting hammered by a dreadful Nodge side, while we are disappointed at not getting all 3 pts against Man Utd.

Rooney can't last there surely?

Yeah I watched for ten minutes earlier.

Two observations:

1. Plymouth at the worst team I’ve ever seen at championship level. Proper bad

2. Norwich fans looked more inbred than normal

Also, Hull have turned into a complete turd of an outfit since that belting game at their place in April. Walter has got to be the next to go.

Sacking Rosenior was really unpopular with their fans at the time.

Argyle has really ebbed away after two or three really good seasons. Why on earth they brought Rooney in is totally beyond me. But wave a big ex footballer name at a club and all reason seems to go out of the window. Absolute football suicide.

Losing Greaves, Philogene, Delap, Carvalho, Tufan, Seri (amongst others) won't have helped.

Walter, Cifuentes, Rooney and perhaps Rob Edwards could all be spending Xmas with the family if they are not careful.

He's probably happy enough in Ligue 1 at the moment.

Schumacher may be tempted to return though.

Ha, didn’t even realise he was in a job tbh.

Not sure if he’d be welcomed back there!

Yup - that Plymouth team is unrecognisable from the one that was so strong in League One - really missing the likes of Azaz, Whittaker, Hardie, Cooper and Cundle

Sainz = tricky one. he was their one bright spark when they came to Portman Road IMO (the guy who scored whose name I am refusing to remember was pretty average, just right place right time twice). But Sainz's attitude and the way he plays the game stinks. I am just not sure he is a great personality fit - but maybe we need some more of that?

They seem to have recovered a bit of their ability to claw results back at home with late goals but they are utterly hopeless away - after tonight I think that puts them at 3 scored and 23 conceded away from home.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Not Sainz but I'd love us to get revenge on them for Gibbs - not that he turned out great but it just felt so sickening that they were in a position to poach our best youth player. Who's their next Rowe?

I bet it's even less popular now

As for Sainz, let's hope he isn't doing the Johnny Rowe trick of keeping them in the mix before fluking their way into the playoffs late again when Sergeant comes back

'...spending Xmas with The Family'?

Do you think Nodge would sack the German feller and hire four new co-managers then? I thought they were potless (as well as trophyless).

Serious answer: No. He looks good at exploiting poor teams and scoring worldies at the moment, but lacks an all round game or any defensive ability. He's the absolute epitome of a player who will do well at one level but be utterly useless at the next level up, and perhaps most important of all he gives every appearance of being a self-interested knob rather than a team player. I definitely wouldn't want him here even if we get relegated.

Sign him and put him in our reserves, just for a laugh.
