New managers often have a short-term bounce effect but I wonder how much difference they will make to their team’s chances of avoiding relegation.
Personally I think it won’t make much difference to Saints but Pereira could improve Wolves’ chances so they worry me more.
Bearing in mind we have to finish above three other teams and Palace and Everton seem to be on the up, it means those three teams are probably Leicester, Wolves and Saints.
Pereira has a good record but looking at the teams hes managed, he's always picked up a job at clubs that are already favourable in their respective decisions. Porto, fenerbache, etc. will be interesting to see how he will do at a struggling club. As you say I think southampton are down regardless.
With regards to Leicester, they have also improved under the new manager. Gonna be a big task to stay up especially with the run in we have now and our injury woes but its not impossible if we strengthen in Jan and manage to put a half decent run together.
