Yep. Leapt on a train as the doors were closing in Japan once, because it was late.

Checked Google maps when we didn't see our destination displayed inside, only to discover we were heading really fast in the wrong direction.

Good luck!

I once went to an entirely wrong country by getting the train the wrong way. Ended up in Sweden instead of Copenhagen central.

You never know, but I’d be surprised if it descends to those levels of debauchery.

Mate of mine used to commute to London from Colchester. Would regularly get bladdered after work on Thurs/Fri, miss his stop and wake up in Clacton, sometimes Ipswich, once even Norwich.

Best one though, he got on an overground in the middle of London, steaming drunk, thinking it was taking him to Liverpool Street. You can see where this is going...

Woke up in Liverpool Lime Street!

Pah! You’d be fine as they go round in circles.

One early morning on New Year’s day in Dublin, I got woken up by a guard just before the train I’d crashed out on set off to the west coast of Ireland. That could have been inconvenient with a morning ferry to catch back to Holyhead.

Impressive, hopefully you have plenty of cans and spare change for when you get stuck at New Street.

The Circle line hasn’t been a circle for years. It’s more of a spiral now.

On a slightly different note. My drunken son in law phoned his wife,(my daughter) to pick him up from Thetford station after going to a Man U v Chelsea game. He was actually in Stretford at the time. The taxi fare back to Suffolk was not cheap.

Fly Ryanair and they do that for you, as a 100 or so Towen fans discovered on the way to the Helsinbourgs Uefa cup game.

Yes from Watford I just saw a load of Town fans standing on the platform and thought they must be going the same way as me,this was after a day on the lash,I ended up somewhere else can’t remember now.

Norwich away,I ended up in Chelmsford I should have got off at Colchester North,I’ve also had people give me a shove to wake me up before.

QPR away, again I fell asleep on the train and ended up in Frinton on Sea.

If we're talking underground a mate of mine feel asleep on the Victoria line on his way to Walthamstow and woke up in Brixton.

Last time I got the train back from PR I tried to change carriages at Colchester to sit with some mates. Wasn't quick enough and had to wait on the platform for half an hour at 11pm.
