Palmer a no brainer. Possibly harsh on Burgess but I think Greaves could do with a consistent run. Clear that Philogene needs games and I wonder if Enciso also falls into that camp. I also just want to see more of him, fella's a superstar.

Not far off on rest Id say, maybe burgess in there more likely.

We need to start working on some relationships.
The CBs need to be a partnership, so do both the flanks, so does the CM.
Play the 1st choice (wherever possible) and then take them off in the second half if we can. |  |

If Palmer's in goal I would go first choice defence. I also think Phillips and Cajuste should be given more time in the centre of midfield. Hutchinson and Philogene need time to adjust and build confidence. Only player who should be rested is Delap. Saying that, it's harsh on those who got us up last year not to get game time here.
I personally prefer three at the back and feel Woolfenden is required so my preference would be...

You've also got a squad of 25+ players to maintain and they are all chomping at the bit to play. Our fringe players need minutes and they are more than good enough to play against Championship opposition.
Added to that the Delap/ Hutch/ O'Shea/ Cajuste need a break and this is the perfect opportunity to make changes.

9 of the starters from the 3rd round are still available, so may well go again as our "cup team". The other 2 were Burns and Al Hamadi, who were replaced during the game by Johnson and Hirst. That might make up the 11. Options are to give Philogene and Palmer time on the green stuff. |  | | |

Exactly. Play the best team we can and win a game of football, also put the players in their best roles and nothing clever, just all out attack for 90 mins.
There is no reason we cannot get to the 1/4 final here with a bit of luck, especially if we are going to get pumped every week in the PL makes that bit less tedious.

The main reason we have struggled all season is not have a settled side and building partnerships etc....I don't think he will but with a 2 week league break this seems a perfect opportunity to play the strongest team to help develop these for the remainder of the season.
