Half as many points for driving performances as he’s helped us win this season. Impressive effort

Well, I heard about it on the evening of the Chelsea home game. So, I'm sure plenty around town already know.

Given the ownership's dim view of James Norwood's antics, I also wonder whether Muric's 'injuries' are a smokescreen to preserve what market value he has before flogging in the summer.

whatever did happen to Norwood's apparently preposterous "appeal"?

Something clearly has gone on there, even if just as simple as all parties agreeing that the loan wasn't working.

For whatever reason, the club seems to have developed an aversion to letting it be public knowledge that mistakes have been made, or things aren't 100% rosy.

With hindsight, even the announcement that Murić had been signed with the help of Goalkeeper.com feels a bit like Ashton throwing them under the bus.

It all feels a bit silly and control-freakish. It's football; players turn out to be knobs, and signings don't work out. Ashton and Co don't have to maintain these really transparent charades that everything is fine, even when the evidence proves otherwise.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

I suppose it might be tricky, as no players require to drive for their job, but there's an element of me that wonders whether (given the reputational risk) it would be worth the club ensuring players are suitably insured.

They are required to get to training, so just like most of us, need to drive to get there.

Not sure if Frimley would be makin alternative accounts.

Not a big point, just an aside, but I find it curious how some people's on-field opinions of a player change when they have an off-field misdemeanor. Possibly subconsciously. See also James Norwood.

What an arse. Another one without insurance (after Brandon). What’s wrong with these idiots? Driving around in high marque cars but can’t be arsed to sort out insurance. Are they just used to having everything done for them, think they’re above the rest of us, or what?

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the driving without insurance because the other offences invalidate the insurance so hence they are then uninsured?

Just like us, alternative methods of travel exist. I think that if a professional footballer argued they couldn't lose their licence because they need it for their work, they would stil lose it and be told to make alternative arrangements for how to get there.

Yep, just like us law abiding citizens who pay for insurance whilst not earning £10k plus a week.

It’s idiotic and undefendable that someone of his position doesn’t have car insurance. Doubt I’m alone in that

Maybe footballers as role models isn't the best idea after all.

no using a mobile phone whilst driving is only 6points and £200 fine if done on a fixed penalty, upto 1k if it goes to court.

be nice if it did invalidate the insurance and you could get an unlimited fine instead, maybe some of the other idiots who drive around town on their phones would pause to think and stop doing it.

Yes, in Muric's case they seem like separate offences but I have a feeling that in other cases they might not be. Not sure about Williams' situation but I believe driving under the influence would be one.

At least Frimmers was occasionally funny. Phil, now this one has gone, can we have Frimmers back?

We won't be seeing him in a Town shirt anymore. 100%.

Nah, Nerdy was always intelligent albeit with an incredible degree of spin.

It's a recurring poster who always goes the same way, posts excessively looking for up arrows then when that doesn't work just ties for attention. Will soon storm off in a huff until the next iteration.
