If they'd grabbed a goal they may well have done. Well and truly done now.

They love launching it into the box, don’t they? Whatever works, I guess.

Yeah agreed. Bit of prem experience and height in both boxes. Would have been a better option than AAH.

Significantly better - we’d have signed him if we had the option of him or AAH though but we obviously expected to get much better in.

Kieffer Moore just so effective at Champ level ... (n/t) on 22:07 - May 12 with 1304 views | ITFC_Forever | Poor in the air for his size and controls the ball further than most can kick it. The improvement when Hirst was available at the end of last season was huge. Scored some important goals for us though, so will always be grateful for that.

Yes, he’s a good player at Championship level. I couldn’t believe how much he’d improved from when McCarthy first brought him in. Then he looked like the thin bloke from the pub who’d won a lottery ticket to play for his team. Well done him! He’s really made the most of his ability. I was not averse to him staying as back up for this season, but I was under the impression he wanted regular football at his age. I might be wrong. Could he have played at Premier League level as he is now? I think it’s a level too high for him. He’d have been a better alternative than AAH and one of his strengths is bringing others into the game, but I doubt he’d have made any real difference or got much of a sniff given the size and skill of most established PL teams. If Sheffield get promoted, it’ll be interesting to see how he goes if they retain him.

I wouldn't say he is poor in the air by any means but he can make you quite predictable His finishing ability is pretty decent, give him a chance and he probably will take it McKenna clearly wants strikers who can run and run

They signed him on a 3 year deal so you'd imagine they'd keep him for the prem if they get there.

A 3 year deal's meaningless if they get promoted. They'll surely need better for the Prem so will just sell him or loan him back to the Champ. We could do a lot worse if he's happy being 3rd choice.
| Trust the process. Trust Phil. |

A Rangers or Celtic would suit him

Hasn't he been injured for much of the season?
