"Norwich agree £11m Kvistgaarden deal
Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph

Norwich City have agreed a deal worth £11m for Brondby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden.

It’s understood the Denmark international has also agreed terms on a four-year deal with the English Championship club.

Kvistgaarden, 23, is due to arrive in England this week to undergo a medical and finalise the paperwork on his move. "

Sargent replacement. Fair play to them for not doing it on the cheap.

Am I the only one that hears Helga’s voice from Allo Allo when saying Kvistgarden?

I can only assume that the Departure door is about to open for Sargent and that spitting tit with the crap facial hair.

They haven't got that level of wriggle room to keep them in line with financial restrictions.

Let's hope this guy is more Van Woolfscock, than Pukki

Most Norwich fans won't have even heard of him 3 days ago...

5ft 8"... an interesting replacement for Sargent.

I'm not overly concerned especially if they want him to play up top.

Ploughing money into foreign players can occasionally pay off (as shown with Sainz) but creating a team of too many that can't adjust to the pace of English Football is the perfect recipe for a catastrophic season. Look at Jurasek, played just 80 minutes after a 7M euro move in Jan.

Harry Darling looks good business though.

They've spent some serious cash for a non parachute payment team in the last year. They've also got quite a lot of it back but they are still spending at a very good rate for the Championship.

Is he any good? Can't we hijack the deal at the last minute, you know, just for laughs.

And didn’t Ashton say we’re targeting a different kind of player now.

I’m assuming that means beefier, faster and more physically ready for the PL

He’s probably filling his time squeezing players muscles.

I also read around 7m plus add ons could rise to 10m but never heard of him.

Would have liked Harry Darling here though

£11M+ players only good enough for our bench.

i think he's a winger, so not certain he'd make the bench!

It seems like there’s been a jump in the amount of money normal Championship sides are willing to splash out. Normally you’d rarely see a team without spend over about £5M, but we’re seeing £10M+ this year. Someone on here did say a couple of weeks ago that we’d see teams bidding higher this year and that looks to be the case.

Has anything happened specifically? Are teams offering silly-long contracts now so can spread over a longer period, or have PSR limits increased? More TV income?

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

maybe they're going for it as there's only 4 parachute teams, may never be a better chance?

Apparently they are also looking at another Danish player (not heard of him either).

Seems odd that they are in the market for Danes when they've just binned their Danish manager.

It's almost as if they are buying players identified, and presumably wanted, by the clueless manager they had to sack and not the one they've just appointed.

Sounds like a potential disaster.
