Sounds like a bad choice for him, needs go somewhere where pressure if off, can rebuild confidence and fitness in a more forgiving league, I would say we would have been perfect for him.

A year out tearing up the Championship might’ve done him good in the long run.
I think European clubs see this as a model now - Roma rehabilitating Tammy Abraham, obviously McTominay, Dortmund taking Sancho (now off to Italy), etc. |  |
