Hi - wasn't sure if ex-Town Lee Martin's appointment at my "other club" Welling United had got mentioned on here.

I wonder if he can do anything at a club that has seemed in endless (terminal?) decline in the past few seasons, finally losing its grip on Tier 6 of the league system last year...

Martin at a poorly organised club on it's way down seems pretty much on brand for him, to be fair.

Hopefully he;s found his level at last.

Is that his first manager job? I know he’s been ploughing an ever deepening furrow through the lower tiers for a while as a player, but I don’t know if he’s got any coaching/managerial experience. Fair play for taking on the challenge I suppose.
